Kemper Donovan

Book: The Decent Porposal by Kemper Donovan

Synopsis:

The Decemt Proposal was published in April 2016 by HarperCollins. The novel is an addictively readable debut romantic comedy, drama, and mystery rolled into one, about two very different strangers whose lives become intertwined when they receive an unusual proposition, offered them anonymously: spend two hours a week together—just talking—for one full year, and they will each receive half a million dollars. This is a funny, tender, and enchanting story about love, attraction, and friendship: Jane Austen in Los Angeles. It was selected as a Publishers Lunch Buzz Books for 2016, and has already attracted fans such as New York Times bestselling author J. Ryan Stradal (Kitchens of the Great Midwest), who writes: “Full of heart and humor, Donovan’s debut is a classic L.A. love story.”
